Catherine Loppy - The weight of waiting is a heaviness. The outcome depends on the posture of our heart during the waiting season. God gets your attention during your wilderness waiting. It's always glorious when God brings the wilderness season to an end. Don't look for a short cut - God's timing is perfect.

Martin Bullen - Our Christian walk has been shaped by our perceptions, interpretations and opinions. Like the disciples, we may need a "reset" and throw our nets on the "other side of the boat". The Lord had prepared Joseph of Arimathea and Esther for their "such a time as this " moments. In our time of seeking a new vision and direction - He's doing the same for HCoC.

Geoff Morffew - Your faith is a continuous walk - God doesn't only just work on Sunday. Live out your faith in everyday decisions, relationships and actions. We should be living and breathing the Word of God.

Donna Bullen - Legacy Series Part 1. The new testament "Kingdom of God" is our old testament legacy. Kingdom living is a life of discovery and Jesus governs as King. The veil hiding God's glory is gradually being opened and we are all ambassadors for the Kingdom of God.

Neil Nisbett - God…give me patience NOW!

We need to ensure we are following God's timetable and not our own. Don't confuse activity as progress.

Steve Deverell - Wait, because the Father will send the Holy Spirit. The Peter who left the upper room was not the same Peter who entered it - we can now "see" the journey set before us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Dr Kathleen Rochester - God never calls us without being willing to come with us and provide. If God calls you to do something - He will enable you. Proverbs 3:5-6

Jim Garlick - In Col 4:7-15 Paul names church members, describes them and their purpose in the body . . . every church needs a Tychicus and others.

Kim Valentine - It is amazing how God brings people together for his purposes. There is hope in the Lord Jesus. Pray and watch. 1 Peter 1-11.

Neil Nisbet - Faith - a small word that means so much. Abraham, Noah, Eli, Deborah, Gideon were people of faith - the Spirit that powered these men and women of faith resides in ALL of us.

Jim Garlick - The ascended manifest Christ moves in our midst and touches lives. His name and authority is above and superior to any situation you face.

Donna Bullen - The Cross opened up the Kingdom, grace and blessings for all humanity. Salvation is a gift from God and grace always costs the giver.

Matt Sharples - Be found doing God's business. We are not called to blend in, we are called to stand out. If you fall down, get back up and go again.

Perry Kakunka - Acts 23:1-11. God says your faith will be tested but you are NOT alone. Whatever you are going through God says "I am with you" - He knows where you are and what you are going through. When Paul was in prison, God said to him "be of good cheer" (Acts 23:11).

Neil Nisbet - What is truth? What is perception? In today’s world of social media, truth has become fluid. Hold on to God’s truth because the world does not know the truth. In a world where truth is under attack, know the truth of God’s word.

Jim Garlick - Levels of water can represent levels in our life with Christ. The Holy Spirit helps us go deeper into the things of the Lord.

Don Barns - My yoke is easy, and my burden is light. We are invited into the yoke with Jesus but before that there is something we must do. We need forgiveness, we need cleanness, we need change. Take the yoke and learn. Come, Take, Learn - which stage are you at?

Jim Garlick - In life there are times of famine and barrenness. However, we don't stop sowing in times of famine. If you want to reap you have to sow. We need the Holy Spirit in the church - we need the water, we need the living, tangible presence of God.

JIm Garlick - Revelation 1:4-8. What is our testimony? I am a new creation, I am a child of God. I have authority in His name and I can do what He empowers me to do. Do we want to be a 'word' church, a 'spirit' church or both working together?

Donna Bullen - Did you know you can thrive when 'all hell is breaking loose?'. We need to remember - Jesus is the anchor of our hope. We can thrive with a heart on fire for the Lord.

Geoff Morffew - God's mercy is life to all who believe. Thinking about ourselves and our circumstances brings despair but thinking about God brings hope. God will show up every morning with enough new mercies to get us through each day.

Donna Hill - Matthew 14:22-33. Jesus' heart and invitation is for us to come to Him. He reaches out His hand in the storm and takes hold of our hand. It is not dependent on our ability to hold on. Our role is to cry for help and be rescued.

Ron Wilson - We are made in the image of God and not meant to be enslaved. How wonderful it is that we have been set free.

Steve Deverell - delivers our first sermon for 2025. The past is gone, we have a new season ahead of us if we choose to take it.

Geoff Morffew - Jesus was a revolutionary. He taught like no other Rabbi or Teacher. Jesus dared to interpret God's law, and His teaching was the opposite to the teaching of the day. We need to depend on Him not be independent of Him.
